A beautiful and classic example of chic Winter dressing.  I especially love the winter styling of her two-tone flats and wide legged pants.  Her hair casually pulled back really compliments her aviator sunglasses.

Elegantly waisted

A well tailored coat, beautiful belted creates a great silhouette... by adding opaque stockings and short ankle boots the overall look is dark but kept interesting with her open neck and white sleeves peaking out.

Transition weather

We are transitioning to Winter over here now.  Here is a nice casual combination of neutrals and transition pieces for a cool Autumn day.

More Green...

Another great example of wearing this jewel green.  Easier with dark hair and long limbs!  Backgammon is a very popular daytime game over here... usually played with a small cup of black tea and often a hookah pipe.

Colour blocking

How great is this green mini?

A nice example in colour blocking in a bright shade and accessorising with neutrals.  Loafers are a great alternative to ballet flats and I like the old school shoulder bag.

Glamour Slump

Slumped down after a long days shooting!  What a glamourous and classic daytime outfit.  A well fitting cotton/spandx striped maxi dress and adorable blush ballet pumps.  Adding to the classic casual feel is her drapped pashmina and black SLR.  Seems like the fluffy white cat is feeling her vibe - or perhaps the other way around?

Such affection

In general I love the PDA of young couples in Istanbul.  Its very often you see a pair holdings hands and walking, sitting on park benches in an embrace or stealing private moments whenever they can!  The above is a lovely example... Their synchronicity in their steps and body language is fantastic.

Little hipster... and I mean little!

How adorable is this young lady?  Still carrying a doll but rocking a seriously cool look.  Here is the magic of a fashionable mother passing on tricks to her offspring... and so the fashion chain continues.
This is a great scarf fashioned into a halter dress, very beach style but still sufficient for a day in the city.  The cute little adult-copy sandles finish it off.  Even her hair and pose is nonchalant...

Nautical youth

Relaxing and enjoying the view.  I find the Turks here are able to pause and take in the moment at any time of the day and in any situation with enviable ease.  Perhaps like many Mediterraneans (Istanbul has many Mediterranean and European sides as well as the more known Middle Eastern touches) they enjoy life and while at times.... especially in a bustling city like this.... times can be tirring and frustrating, they take the moments of pleasure and soak in them (usually with a tiny tea cup in hand!).

Tourist Time... SMILE

Here are a couple of girls enjoying the last days of Summer here in the city.  Istanbul (and especially the south western coastal area of Turkey) are very popular Tourist desinations, especially for in-the-know Europeans. 
Fashion-wise I really love the outfit of the girl with the baggy shorts and stripe shirt.  A perfect choice for relaxed sight-seeing while still looking good in the tourist shots when you get back home!

Drowning in the Sunday papers is something I dearly miss now Im living abroad... this Turkish couple are clearly enjoying this hometown pleasure.  What do you miss if your currently living away from your home country?

Beautiful Bospherous Bridge

A view from under one of the two famous Bospherous Bridges that connect the Euopean side to the Asian side... Istanbul is a city between the two continents.  This is the 1st Bridge called the Bospherous Bridge, the other is called Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge.
